Digital Employee Use and Internet Agreement
All faculty and staff must complete the digital AUP
- A signed digital AUP will be needed from every employee with an email address, not just teachers. This includes EAs, custodial staff, and cafeteria staff.
As an employee wishing to use the Internet, I hereby agree to comply with the Rutherford
County Board of Education Policy 4.406, "Employee Use of Internet." I agree to
communicate over the network in an ethical and appropriate fashion while honoring all
relevant laws and restrictions contained in the Board policy, realizing that misuse may
result in losing this resource or my employment with the school system. I also hereby
waive any and all rights to privacy as it pertains to the Board of Education provided
Internet access, which may be monitored by the school system. I hereby certify that I
have received a copy of the Rutherford County Board of Education's policy regarding
employee use of the Internet. I understand that violation of this policy can subject me to
disciplinary action up to and including termination. I understand and agree that by typing my name below and submitting this form constitutes an electronic signature that shall be valid as an original signature.
