I hope your summer is going well! I wanted to send a message to inform you that the Annual Required Student Update (our required online registration process) is now open. In order to get your child enrolled in school this year, you will need to go to our school website or www.rcschools.net to complete this process in Skyward. This is required for ALL returning and new students. You must use the parent login to complete this process, not your child's Skyward login. If you don't know your Skyward parent login, please click "Forgot Your Login/Password?" and enter your email address to have it sent to you.
Once logged in to Skyward, you will click on the "Annual Required Student Update" tab on the left, and you will need to complete ALL 18 steps in order to enroll your child in school this year.
Every family is required to upload two proofs of address, which can be a current electric, water, or gas bill (dated within the last 30 days), your most recent mortgage statement, or your lease with signatures and dates of your lease agreement. All of these documents must be in the legal guardian's name, and should be uploaded in Step 17 (Attachments). We cannot accept cell phone, cable, or internet bills, only the documents listed above.
It is VERY important that you fill out the Free/Reduced meals form found in Step 16 (Student Nutrition), as all cafeteria charges will be required to be paid in full unless you qualify for free/reduced meals. Regardless of whether you qualified for free/reduced meals last year, you must fill out this form every year in order to qualify for the upcoming year. Even if you do not think you will qualify, the completion of this form provides our school with crucial federal funding for staff, resources, and technology. It can also help you to be eligible for assistance such as P-EBT cards, Field Trip fees, school supplies, etc. Only one form is required per family.

SAVE THE DATE!
Cedar Grove will hold our annual "Popsicles on the Porch" event on Monday, August 5th from 3:00-5:00 pm for all PreK and 1st-5th grade students, where you will get to meet your child's teacher. You will also receive your "fast pass" to get in the school on the first day of school if online registration completed by August 5th. ALL Annual Required Student Updates in Skyward must be completed prior to Wednesday, August 7th, which is our 2-hour abbreviated day.

KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
If you have friends/neighbors with incoming Kindergartners (or other new students zoned for CGE), please share this registration information with them as well. Kindergartners must be registered as new students in Skyward, and parents of registered Kindergartners will be contacted with information about Kindergarten screening, phase-in days, and orientation. We look forward to an incredible 2024-2025 school year and can't wait to see all of our students!
