Hi! My name is Mrs. Deaton and I am the school counselor for grades K-2! This is my 10th year at Cedar Grove Elementary and 14th year as a counselor! Before becoming a Timberwolf, I worked at Lascassas Elementary and Siegel Middle School! I received my bachelor's degree in human development from SUNY Oswego and my master's degree in counselor education from Penn State!
I am originally from Buffalo, NY, where it snows A LOT!! 14 years ago, I made the wise decision to move where there is more sunshine! I met my husband, Chris, in Tennessee and we have made Murfreesboro our home! We have two sweet girls, Leah and Claire, who we adore!
