September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! As you may or may not know, Cedar Grove Elementary School had a courageous young woman by the name of Taylor Filorimo who lost her battle with cancer. Taylor wanted to establish a foundation in her name to help local families who live too close to Vanderbilt to qualify for other services with day to day expenses while getting medical treatment at Vanderbilt. Please help us LIVE 4 TAY by allowing your student to bring in change the week of September 23rd. Although any donation is appreciated, we prefer coins! We want to show our students that even their small contributions can “pay it forward” and help others in need. All proceeds will go directly to the Live 4 Tay Foundation.

Wednesday, 9/25 wear ORANGE for aleks

Thursday, 9/26 wear BLUE for Clinton

Friday, 9/27 wear GOLD for all children with cancer

**This is a HOUSE competition! Students will be given house points for bringing in coins and wearing the specific colors each day!!
