March Math Madness

Join Susan Loveless, a math specialist for Rutherford County Schools, as she shares strategies and activities for K-2 parents on building number sense and foundational math skills at home. Learn how to support your child with engaging math games, books, and hands on activities to increase retention of math skills learned at school. As a bonus, you will receive math materials to take and use at home! We hope to see you at Cedar Grove Elementary Wednesday, March 4th at 7:45 am in the school library.

Bullying is everyone's Business! STOPit! Antibullying Parent Workshop

Join us on Wednesday, November 13th, led by Jessica Galloway and Nancy Deaton, Guidance Counselors at CGE, and Holly Harwood, Instructional Technology Coach. Their expertise will help us explore what bullying is, what bullying is NOT, the different types of bullying, and resources such as the all NEW RCS STOPit app. In addition, learn about ways teachers and parents can promote digital citizenship at school and home.

The latest forecast shows our county will receive several inches of rain overnight and throughout Friday, which is expected to compound the flooding and road issues.

As such, all Rutherford County Schools will remain closed on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019. Again, all Rutherford County Schools will be closed Friday, Feb. 22, 2019.
