this is the how to make a distribution list self-help series how to create a contact group or distribution list in Outlook mail so here's how to create your distribution list so on your desktop if you come down to your Windows button we need to find the installed Outlook email so this is not the online version this is your installed version sew in this version of your Outlook mail it has a lot more power so I'm pulling that over so you can see that this is my Outlook that his opened up so the first step is opening your outlook in the first time you ever do this it might take a little while for it to load up but the more you do it the faster it get so if you come over here here is your outlook box down here and the lower left corner you're going to find your main menu for email calendar contacts so we're wanting to click on contacts once your screen has changed you're going to go up to cry new contact group once you click create contact group a brand new window will open up for you once it's there you're going to give it your contact group a name and then add members once you click on ADD members you have some options from Outlook contacts to your address book or email we want to go with your address book once it's now there a brand new window will pop up in this is where you're going to locate the team members that you would like to add to your group so if I just type in the name I find the person that I want click it and down here under members at it so I can go through in a day as many team members as I need and sometimes we have to kind of look around make sure it's spelled as close as possible legit and add it once you have all of the members added click okay once you have your team name it looks the way do you want it to look you have the team members in there that you need you're going to click save and close once you have done that then you should be able to see that group in your other contact group this will allow you to pull this up when you're typing an email all of these different groups will come up so now that I have that group I can go back to my Outlook installed or online and then create a new email and look for the group that I needed first grade test CDE 2018 once I have that there I can also go in and look at that group and I believe we can go in and see who's actually the members of that group to make sure that you're getting the correct then you can send that email all day long that's how you do a distribution list
