How to Enroll a Student in Skyward!

Enroll a Returning 1st - 5th Grade Student

In order to get your child enrolled in school this year, you will need to go to https://sis-rutherford.tnk12.gov/scripts/wsisa.dll/WService=wsRUTStu/seplog01.w to complete Student Data Verification in Skyward. You must use the parent login to complete this process, not your child's Skyward login. If you don't know your Skyward parent login, please click "Forgot Your Login/Password?" and enter your email address to have it sent to you.  

Once logged in to Skyward, you will need to complete ALL 19 steps in order to enroll your child in school this year.

Every family is required to upload two proofs of address, which can be a current electric, water, or gas bill (dated within the last 30 days), your most recent mortgage statement, or your lease with signatures and dates of your lease agreement. All of these documents must be in the legal guardian's name, and should be uploaded in Step 17 (Attachments).

It is VERY important that you fill out the Free/Reduced meals form found in Step 18 (Nutrition Services), as all cafeteria charges will be required to be paid in full unless you qualify for free/reduced meals. Regardless of whether you qualified for free/reduced meals last year, you must fill out this form every year in order to qualify for the upcoming year. Even if you do not think you will qualify, the completion of this form provides our school with crucial federal funding for staff, resources, and technology. It can also help you to be eligible for assistance such as P-EBT cards, Field Trip fees, school supplies, etc. Only one form is required per family.

We will hold our annual "Popsicles on the Porch" event on Thursday, August 3^rd from 3:00-5:00 pm for all PreK and 1st-5^th grade students, so please try to have online registration completed by this date to receive your abbreviated day "fast pass." ALL online enrollment must be completed prior to Monday, August 7th, which is our 2-hour abbreviated day. Also, a reminder that school supply lists are available on the CGE website.
